Traffic Manager

We are looking for a Traffic Manager to join our Jacksonville office. The Traffic Manager has responsibility for the assignment and coordinating of all agency jobs from inception to completion. 

The candidate will help the agency stay on task by managing processes and making sure jobs are on schedule and running smoothly to ensure excellent client service. This will be a full time on-site and able to be on-call position. Some in-house training will be provided to understand the traffic management system. 

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate all agency projects in the agency management system and mage that workflow across departments
  • Ensure the integrated elements of initiatives come together on time and meet expectations for quality and brand integrity
  • Manage schedules, project scope, assets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project delivery dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed
  • Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance
  • Escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channels
  • Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all resources working across project(s) based on scope of work and project goals
  • Consistently identify needs that others may not recognize and ensure approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs
  • Communicate any issues with team members
  • Create timelines and tasks for the work to be done by deadlines provided, as well as review and communicate key steps throughout the timeline
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement to all process and tools used in the execution of project activities
  • General administrative tasks, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Two years experience in traffic or project management
  • Comprehensive project management skills
  • Ability to manage large volumes of work simultaneously 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent client service skills, internally and externally
  • Experience in formal business workflows
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills — Confident, tactful and persuasive manner, diplomatic and collaborative
  • Solution-focused, resourceful and able to think on your feet
  • Experience in advertising agency is preferred
